Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 17, 2026 · Last updated: April 17, 2026
This app is a personal productivity tool. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. Your information is used only to make the app work for you.
1. Who We Are
Dilly G Mack Daddy Kanban ("the app") is a personal kanban board application operated by the site operator and accessible at dcg123.world. Questions about this policy can be sent to click here.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:
- Account information — your name, email address, and profile picture, provided by Google when you sign in via Google OAuth.
- Kanban board data — the cards, columns, boards, tags, and attachments you create inside the app. This is stored in our database so your board is available across devices.
- Gmail data (optional) — if you choose to connect Gmail, we access your starred emails to create kanban cards. See Section 4 for full details.
- Session data — a secure session cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 48 hours.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To display and sync your kanban board across devices.
- To send you notifications within the app (e.g. board invitations).
- To import starred emails as kanban cards, if you have connected Gmail.
- To send transactional emails (e.g. email verification, invite notifications) via Resend.
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.
4. Gmail Data
This section is required by Google's API Services User Data Policy and describes exactly how we use Gmail access.
Connecting Gmail is entirely optional. If you click "Connect Gmail", you will be asked to grant the app read-only access to your Gmail account (gmail.readonly scope). You can revoke this at any time.
What we access:
- Emails that are starred and received within the last 24 hours.
- The subject line of each starred email (used as the card title).
- The body of each starred email (used as the card description).
What we do with it:
- The subject and body are stored as a kanban card in our database, visible only to you.
- A unique Gmail message ID is stored to prevent the same email from being imported twice.
- No other email data (sender, recipients, attachments, labels) is read or stored.
What we never do:
- We do not read emails that are not starred.
- We do not share Gmail content with any third party.
- We do not use Gmail content to train AI models or for advertising.
- We do not store your Gmail credentials — only an OAuth refresh token issued by Google, which you can revoke at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in a MariaDB database on a cPanel server. We use HTTPS for all connections, prepared SQL statements to prevent injection attacks, and session cookies with HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite=Lax flags. File uploads are stored in a private directory with randomised filenames.
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is perfectly secure. Please do not store highly sensitive information in card descriptions.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except for the following service providers who operate strictly on our behalf:
- Resend — transactional email delivery (verification emails, invite notifications). Resend receives only the recipient email address and email content.
- Google OAuth — authentication. Google's privacy policy applies to the OAuth flow itself.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Your account and all associated data (boards, cards, attachments) are retained for as long as your account is active. Deleted cards are held in a recoverable trash for 10 days before permanent deletion.
To request full deletion of your account and all data, email click here. We will complete the deletion within 30 days.
To disconnect Gmail at any time, visit myaccount.google.com/permissions and revoke access for this app. Your existing kanban cards will not be affected.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at click here.
9. Children's Privacy
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
